About

Old Fox Hollow is a place shaped by Scripture,

formed through ordinary faithfulness, and carried by a slower way of life.

It is not built around urgency or performance.

It is built around formation.

We believe life is shaped over time — through attention, through habit, through the quiet return to what is true.

What we become is not formed in moments of intensity, but in the steady patterns of ordinary days.

“Be transformed by the renewal of your mind.”
— Romans 12:2

This renewal is not hurried. It is deep work — often unseen, often gradual, always faithful.

ROOTED

Rooted is the space for learning.

We believe education is not separate from life, but part of its formation.

It is not measured only by speed or completion, but by depth —

by whether truth is understood, retained, and lived.

We value attention.
We value living ideas.
We value the slow forming of understanding over time.

“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.”
— Proverbs 9:10

Learning is not rushed here.

It is tended.

RESTFUL

Restful is the space for home.

We believe peace is not produced by circumstance, but governed by Christ.

“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts.”
— Colossians 3:15

We resist hurry that fractures presence.
We resist pressure that crowds out attention.
We resist the idea that life must be measured by constant acceleration.

Rest is not withdrawal from life.

It is life ordered under trust.

REFLECTIVE

Reflective is the space for noticing.

We believe God is present in ordinary moments, and that attention is a form of faithfulness.

“Be still, and know that I am God.”
— Psalm 46:10

Reflection is not self-focus.

It is recognition — of grace, of growth, of what has been quietly sustained.

Sometimes it takes the form of poetry.
Sometimes simple observation.
Always honesty.

A QUIET INVITATION

This is not a system to adopt.

It is a way of seeing life slowly, faithfully, and with attention to what endures.

Take what is helpful. Leave what is not.

But do not hurry.

What is rooted grows slowly.
What is ordered under peace remains steady.
What is noticed becomes gratitude.

And all of it is held by grace.
